The Montville Township Youth Center was completed in 2003. It is located in Community Park on Changebridge Road. The goal of the Youth Center is to provide a supervised environment free of violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs for youth to participate in activities and interact with each other. Within the building are a big screen television, ping-pong table, computer lab, quiet rooms, and a well-trained and responsible staff. Many activities are available from non-structured ‘Drop-In’ time to scheduled programs where participants are asked to register in advance.
The building is currently open Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM daily. Youth 11 years old and up are asked to have a parent/guardian complete an emergency card and to sign themselves in and out when they attend the Center. Children who are under the age of 11 are asked to be accompanied by a parent when they ‘Drop-In’ to the Youth Center.
